Location of Yinlingquan Acupoint
On the lower border of the medial condyle of the tibia in the depression posterior and inferior to the medial condyle of the tibia. (or) On the lower border of the medial condyle of the tibia on level with the tuberosity of the tibia. (or) Between the posterior border of the tibia and gastrocnemius muscle.
What is the meaning of Yinlingquan
YinLingquan:”Yin”, water.”Ling”,mound. “Quan”,Spring. The name of “Yinlingquan” means that the mixture of meridian water and spleen soil that gather and ccumulate here. The substance of this point is mixture of mud and water from SP 8(Diji).Since it is located in depression, the mixture of mud and water settle here, and the water overflow, and the soil of spleen form a reverse mound,hence the name.
What is Yinlingquan acupoint used for?
1.Indications of abdominal distension, diarrhea, edema, jaundice; unfavorable urination, enuresis, urinary incontinence.
2.Irregular menstruation, red vaginal discharge, genital pain, dysmenorrhea, spermatorrhea; knee pain (knee and tibia soreness, low back and leg pain), etc.

YinLingquan acupoint therapy
1. Use the thumb to press Yinlingquan point for 3 to 5 minutes on the left and right sides each time,effectively relieve the paralysis of the lower limbs, dredge the blood meridian, and maintain the knee joint.
2. Combined with Shuifeng acupoint,press the Yinlingquan acupoint with the thumb for 100-200 times,diuresis and reduce swelling.
3. Press Yinlingquan in a clockwise direction with the thumb for 200-300 times,until feel local soreness, relieve enuresis,ascites, dysentery and other diseases
