Erjian:Er,Second,the approximate number,refers to smaller here.Jian,gap,refer to the place where point is located.The name of “Erjian” means the qi of this acupoint is location on not too high of the heaven. The substance of this acupoint is the warm water-qi from LI 1 acupuncture acupoint(Shangyang), The name of Erjian is the explanation of the spatial range where the qi of this acupoint is located, hence the name.
