What is the meaning of Touqiaoyin
Touqiaoyin:”Tou”,the point is located on the head.”Qiao”,pore. “Yin”, means that the substance of this point is yin dampness-qi. The name of “Touqiaoyin” means that the Qi of Gallbladder Meridian is transformed into heavy wet cloud-qi of the lower part of the heaven. The substance of this point is the wet cloud-qi from GB 10(Fubai) point. During the process of descending this point, the wet cloud-qi continuously dissipates heat and absorbs wet, When it reaches this point, it turns into heavy cloud-qi of the lower part of the heaven, and the upper part of the heaven is like empty, hence the name.
