At the midpoint of the curve from GB 9 to GB 11, posterior and superior to the mastoid process, at the junction of the middle 1/3 and upper 1/3 of curved line connecting GB 9 to GB 12.

What is the meaning of Fubai
Fubai:”Fu”, floating.”Bai”,white,the color of the lung,refers to the warm , water and cloud-qi of this point. The name of “Fubai” means that the Yang-hot wind-qi of Gall Bladder Meridian is transformed into warm water and cloud-qi here. The substance of this acupoint is the hot wind-qi from GB 9(Tianchong) point. After reaching this acupoint, the wind-qi is weak and slow, it turns into warm water and cloud-qi due to heat dissipation and absorption moisture, like clouds floating in the heaven, hence the name.
