What is the meaning of Liangmen
LiangMen:”Liang”,the beam of roof.”Men”,the door or the gateway . The name of “Liangmen” means that the Qi of Stomach Meridian is bound by the acupoint. The substance of this point is the meridian water from ST 20(Chengman) point. This point is the uplift of abdomen (the accumulation of spleen soil), which can restrict the meridian water flow,like passing across the beam, hence the name.
