What is the meaning of Shanglian

Shanglian:Shang,upper,opposite to the bottom,Lian, shape like rhombuses,refer to the sides. Because this point is at 1 cun above Xialian acupoint,bent elbows and flexed fists,the shape of muscles like rhombuses,and the point is on the side of the rhombuses,Hence the name.
